Currently work is in progress to develop a new community platform based on e107. You'll be presented with a questionnaire to get some feedback on what you'd like to see and be able to do on this platform.
Given the extremely limited resources (time and money mostly) it is not possible to deliver a complete platform on short-term. The idea therefore is to gradually develop this platform and launch the initial version within a few weeks (early 2016). Using the results from the questionnaire mentioned above, specific features are prioritised over others. From there, new features can be developed and published over time.
Additionally, more resources are needed. On short term, all help is appreciated:
- Developers - PHP experience and e107 knowledge required
- Testers - no technical skills needed
- Designers - things to look nicely as well
The questionnaire provides instructions on how to get involved.
The questionnaire can be found here: http://goo.gl/forms/ZTVtLrDF9e
Please focus on the community platform specifically (the current one is e107help.org) and NOT on what you think of e107 as a content management system. This questionnaire purely focuses on the development of a new COMMUNITY PLATFORM (as a successor to e107help.org)
