I encountered this error assigning this menu an area. I am not sure about posting this on github as this project has not been worked on in years.

Are you sure that you are using latest version?

This plugin was active developed in last months, in fact it's new plugin used on e107.org itself.  

CaMeRon will not answer here and nobody else knows this plugin.   So gitter is your best option. If you use github issue, mention his name.

By the way, I saw it installed on new site with php 7.0  (3 days ago) and it worked without problems (just looked bad with Relive theme).
